One of the easiest ways to improve consistently is to have clear goals. Small, consistent deeds are more beloved to Allah than large deeds done occasionally.
Don't overwhelm yourself. Start with just a few goals. Once they become habits, add more. The aim is progress, not perfection.
Remember that a large yearly goal can be broken down into monthly, weekly or even daily checklists. For example, if your yearly goal is to complete the Qur'an, divide it into monthly or daily reading targets. If your goal is to give charity, set aside a small amount each week.
Make your goals SMART
S – Specific
M – Measurable
A – Attainable
R – Realistic
T – Time-bound

π‘ Tips for Success
π± Start with only 3–5 goals. It is better to achieve a few than abandon many.
⭐ Start with some easy wins to build momentum.
πͺ Break every large goal into monthly, weekly and daily actions.
⏱️ Use the 2-Minute Rule. If something takes less than two minutes, do it immediately.
π Use Habit Stacking. Attach a new habit to an existing one (for example, read one page of Qur'an after every Fajr).
π Follow the Don't Miss Twice Rule. Missing one day is normal. Missing two days starts a new habit.
π Keep a simple checklist or habit tracker.
Write your yearly, monthly and yearly goals and tick off as you go.
π Review your goals every month and adjust them if needed.
π« Remove distractions before relying on motivation.
π If a goal feels too difficult, make it smaller rather than giving up.
π€ Find an accountability partner.
π Reward consistency (not perfection).
π€² Make sincere dua and ask Allah Ta‘ala for steadfastness.
❤️ Remember that sincerity is more important than numbers.
"The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small."(Bukhari)
